BUSY BODIES DO NOT LIVE FOR GOD

Posted by George Soepboer Sr

We may not be a busy body, but we must live with God.

We must always be ready to give a helping hand to people that is the will of God,
but when we seek to operate the life of other people then we are not of God.
( 2 Thessalonians 3:11-14 ).

When we are busy with the needs of other people in the name of God but do not recognize or uphold the need of our own family then we miss our calling from God,
for our own people must have first place that is of God.
( Mark 7:11-13 ).

We may think that we are doing the will of God when we are busy with the needs of other people in the name of God, but that does not mean that we are doing the will of God.
( Matthew 7:21-23 )

We must live for God, but our activity can also remove us from God for when we are a busy body then we do not act in the will of God. We must never think that we please God with the things we think we do in the name of God, but we must obey God.
( 1 Samuel 15:22 ).

A busy body does not live in fellowship with God, for a busy body is not a friend of God, for the time of a busy body is wasted in the things that are not of God,
for they speak things about people that is hated by God.
( 2 Peter 2:10 )( Jude 8 ).

Our pride can make us look that we are busy for God, and our counterfeit feelings can make us believe that we are doing the will of God, but our heart will look black to God if we do not obey God, for the activity of a busy body is never accepted by God.
( Jeremiah 17:9-10 ).

If we wish to obey God and live for God then we must humbly submit our will and life to God, And then we must listen to Spirit within us of God, and we must obey the voice within us of God by the Spirit of God. Only then do we live for God.
( 1 John 2:26-27 ).
