WHEN WE LOOK AWAY FROM GOD THEN WE LOSE CONTACT WITH GOD

Posted by George Soepboer Sr

When we live for God but do not seek fellowship with God then we lose the best part with God. Moreover, if we only consider ourselves a servant of God and not a friend of God then we are not pleasing to God, for then we do not seek the love of God.
( Deuteronomy 6:5 ).

Through Jesus Christ the Son of God we are not a servant of God but we are a child of God. When we are a child of God then we have the rights to live in fellowship with God. If we continue to live as a servant for God then we belittle the work of God through Jesus Christ the Son of God. For Jesus Christ the Son of God paid for our sins on the cross to open the way for us to God that we can live in fullness on the world with God, like Adam and Eve lived before they turned their back on God. Adam and Eve removed the whole world from God when they turned their back on God, but Jesus Christ the Son of God paid for all of their sins and our sins by God to restore the world back to God.
( Romans 5:12-21 )

We must not only live for God and seek help by God, but we must come into the love of God.
If we seek the love of God then we truly live for God, and then we will also receive all of the help we need from God, for then we are truly pleasing God.
( Revelation 2:1-5 ).

In addition, when we only seek the blessings of God then we will never enjoy the love of God. We must always be grateful to God for all of the blessings that come from God, but the greatest blessing is to live in fellowship with God, therefore we must yearn and seek to live in fullness on the world with God.
( Ephesians 3:18-19 ).

We may never allow the blessings that come from God to make us look away from God. All good things come from God, but if we allow them good things to hinder us from living in fullness with God then we are not in the will of God. The fullness with God is not in the blessings of God, but is in God, therefore, if we look away from God to the blessings of God then we remove ourselves from God, for then we are overpowered by the things of God, but then we are not empowered by God. We may enjoy all of the blessings of God, but we must enjoy them with God. If we do not enjoy the blessings from God with God then we remove ourselves from God, and if we remove ourselves from God then we do not give joy to God. Moreover, if we do not give joy to God then we miss the greatest blessing in our life that we can receive from God, for then we miss our fellowship with God.
( Revelation 3:14-22 ).

Moreover, if we live for the blessings of God without living in fellowship with God then we do not live for God, for we cannot have our heart in the things of this world and also live in fellowship with God.( 1 John 2:15-17 ).

When we truly love God then we do not look away from God but then we seek the fullness and friendship with God. In addition, when we do things for God without truly loving God then we also do not live for God. But when we truly love God then the things we do for God are a joy to God, for without love for God we can think that we live for God, but then we do not live for God.( 1 Corinthians chapter 13 ).
