PEOPLE ARE NEVER TEMPTED BY GOD.

Posted by George Soepboer Sr

No one can tempt God and no one is tempted by God.

Holiness is of God there is no wrong within God and no one can tempt God, moreover, we are never tempted by God. Temptation only comes to us when we open our mind to satan and are not willing to submit to God.
( James 1:13-14 ).

Sin is not of God sin is of satan to work against God and to make all people to rebel against God.
( Geneses 3:1-19 ).

We have the freedom from God to obey satan or to obey God. However we are never tempted by God.
( Genesis 2:15-17 ).

satan became evil after he was created by God for satan did not wish to obey God.( John 8:44 ).

God wants all people to live in fellowship with God. Anything that hinders that fellowship with God is not of God. However, God’s love for us does not remove the freedom from us to remove ourselves from God, for then we cannot prove our love for God. Therefore, satan has the freedom from God to test us to see if we truly love God. Without the testing of satan we cannot prove if we love God.
( Job 1:6-12 )( Job 2:1-6 ).

When the Bible speaks of temptation by God then it tells us that satan receive power from God to test the people of God, tempting is never done by God.
( 2 Samuel ( 24:1-10 )( 1 Chronicles 21:1-8 ).

We must always ask God not allow satan to lead us into temptation for satan also is within the power of God and can be prohibited by God.
( Matthew 6:13 ).

When our love for God is strong in God then God will always help us in our temptations that satan brings into our life to sin against God.
( 1 Corinthians 10:13 ).

In addition, if we give into the temptation of satan then we can always be sure that the love of God will restore our relationship with God if we humbly seek forgiveness by God. Not only sometimes will we be forgiven of our sins by God but if we humbly seek forgiveness by God then we will always be forgiven of our sins by God.
( 1 John 1:9 ).

satan can test the love of people for God by tempting the people to turn his or her back on God. However, Jesus Christ the Son of God paid for our sins on the cross by God so that we can and will always be forgiven of our sins by God when we humbly seek that forgiveness by God in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
( 1 Peter 3:18 ).
