When we are born then we do not think that life has an end, for our mind is too small to observe that there is an end.
When we are young then we do not take much time to think about life’s end, for we are young and do not think that in our youth we see the end. Therefore many young people are not ready for life’s end.
When life continues then we know that someday we must be ready for life’s end, but we think that we will have time for it is not the end.
When we become older then we know that we must be ready for we are coming closer to life’s end, but that does not mean that we are ready for life’s end.
When life departs from our body then we are at life’s end, then there is no time anymore to make us ready for life’s end, for then we stand at the beginning of eternal life that has no end.
We must be ready at all times for life’s end, for we do not know when our life ends. If we are not ready for life’s end, then we will not live in glory with God where life never ends, but then we will be in a horrifying place called hell far away from the glory of the life that never ends.
