THE LAW OF GOD AND GRACE FROM GOD

Posted by George Soepboer Sr

The law of God and grace from God.

From the beginning, people knew the will and way of God.
( Genesis 2:15-17 )( Genesis 4:3-7 )( Genesis 6:11-13 )( Romans 1:18-22 ).

However, the law of God are given to the Jewish people by God to help people understand the rules of God, to teach people to submit God.
( Deuteronomy 30:15-20 ).

However, the law of God can also hinder people from living for God for law and religion can become our god. When religion takes the place in our life that belongs to God then we are not living for God, but then we are living for satan who uses the rules of God to keep us away from God.
( Romans 10:1-5 ).

The law from God is not only placed on this world by God to show people the way and will of God but it is also placed on this world by God to show people that they cannot live by the law of God. For no one can make oneself accepted by God by the rules of God, for we all fail to obey the law of God.
( Romans 7:8-24 ).

If we allow ourselves to be overpowered by the law of God then we do not see the grace of God, and therefore then will never find God and enjoy fellowship with God. It is only by the grace of God through Jesus Christ the Son of God that we are acceptable to God, for people cannot keep the laws of God.
( Ephesians 2:4-9 ).

It is only love for God and our trust in God that keeps us in the love of God. However, if we place our hope for salvation in the law of God then we do not trust God.
All of that does not mean that we do away with the law of God and that we do away with the law of God, for we must uphold the law of God, and we must hang on to the rules of God. However, without the grace of God through Jesus Christ the Son of God we have no hope for salvation from God.
( Romans 3:9-31 ).

Love for God is much greater to God than all of the work we do for God, In addition, trust in God is far greater to God than all of the laws and religion we keep to obey God.
( 1 Corinthians chapter 13 ).
For the law of God and the religion that we keep to obey God is not acceptable to God without truly loving and trusting God.
( Deuteronomy 6:4 )( Matthew 22:36-40 )
( Mark 12:28-30 )( Luke 10:25-28 )( Revelation 2:1-5 ).

However, that does not mean that we may remove ourselves from the rules of God and not keep the law of God for that is not the will of God. Nevertheless, we may not allow the law of God to become our god. Our heart may not be in the law of God but our heart must be with God.
In addition, we may not depend on the law of God to bring us into heaven with God and we may not depend on our good works for God to bring us to heaven with God. It is only by the grace of God through Jesus Christ the Son of God that the door in heaven is opened for us by God, for Jesus the Son of God paid for all of our sins on the cross by God.
( Revelation 7:13-15 ).
