Christians must seek a life of giving, not a life of getting for then we do not live for God.

The people who do not live for God seek for self-gratification in the things that are placed on this world by God, and in the things that are placed by satan on this world of God. self-satisfaction can come in all sorts of forms for people who do not live for God. For the people who turn their back on God always seek for things that make them feel good apart from seeking fellowship with God. Whatever they look for and strive for on this world must make them happy for they do not seek their happiness by God. Also when those people please other people or help other people they please themselves not God, for when they do good to others they look for self-gratification not to bring honor to God, for their heart is filled with pride and self-righteousness but they do not humble themselves before God.

Christians must be pleasing God for they have received a new life within by the grace of God. Therefore they must live humbly in that new life with God.

As salt brings taste to food so the faithful Christians bring taste to the world by God. Therefore we must truly seek to live for God, for if we do live like the rest of the people of this world then we will be condemned by God like the other people of the world who do not please God. When we are condemned by God then we will end up in hell with all of the other people who do not belong the kingdom of God.

Therefore we must not only place our faith in Jesus the Son of God as our only lifeline from God to God, but we also must surrender our whole live to God to be controlled by God. If we wish to be the salt on this world for God then our whole life must be in the hands of God. Before we received the new life within from God we are no different then all the people who do not obey God, however, when we are saved from the power of satan by God then we received the freedom and strength from God to be the salt on this world for God, for then we are renewed within by God by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God.

Through Jesus Christ the Son of God we can all live in that freedom with God. For Jesus the Son of God paid for that freedom for us on the cross when He died to remove all of the sins that are standing between the people and God.

When we are forgiven of our sins by the grace of God through Jesus Christ the Son of God and we have received the Holy Spirit within of God then we have received a new life within from God.

Adam made us and this whole world a slave to satan and sin when he turned his back on God. However, when we have received that freedom within from God to live in friendship and fullness with God then we must seek to obey God.

The only way we can live in that friendship and fullness on this world with God is by the Spirit of God, for that is the only way that we can truly live for God and obey God, because it is only when we receive the help of God by Spirit within us of God that we can become the salt of this world for God. But we must have a willing heart and mind to seek for the will of God after we have received that new life within of God.

If we do not have the Holy Spirit living within us of God then we must humbly repent of our sins by God, and then we also must give our whole to God, then we must ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God by God. If we humbly ask for that gift by God then we will receive the indwelling of the Spirit of God.
