If we wish to go to heaven when we die then we must on the world obey God.
When we open our heart to God, and accept Jesus Christ the Son of God as our only Savior to be accepted by God, and when we have receive the Spirit within of God then we have received a new life within from God. That is the greatest event that can ever take place in any person’s life, for at that time we become one with God, for then God lives within us by the Spirit of God.
( 2 Corinthians 6:16-17 ).
Without receiving that new life on this world within from God we cannot go to heaven when we die to be with God. In addition, without that new life we cannot live on this world in fellowship with God and with Jesus the Son of God.

That new life from God can only be ours if we open our heart to God, and humbly ask forgiveness of our sins by God, and truly give our life to God. For only then will we receive the Spirit within of God if we humbly ask for that gift from God.

We must obey the Spirit who lives within us of God if we wish to receive acceptance in heaven by God. Therefore, we must live in that new life with God and for God. If we do not live in the new life by the Spirit of God then we will not end up in heaven when we die to be with God, but then we will end up in hell faraway from God with all of the other people who never received a new life within from God.

If we belong to God that does not mean that we will be accepted in heaven by God, we must do the will of God to the end of our life on this world if we wish to go to heaven when we die to be with God.

Heaven is only reserved for the Christians who have surrendered their life to God and have lived to the end of their life on this world for God.

However, if we fall into sin after we received the new life within from God then we will receive forgiven of our sins by God if we ask forgiveness of our sins by God. God is a merciful God to anyone who humbles himself or herself before God and ask for mercy by God.
