Self-pity leads to depression, it all is the work of satan and leads us away from God.
Self-pity is tool of satan to lead us into trouble for self-pity is the work of satan to lead us away from God. When we allow self-pity to control our life then we surrender our life satan for then we do not trust God, must never yield our life to satan, but must trust God.

Self-pity leads to depression for then our mind is not open to God. When we allow ourselves to be depressed then we are imprisoned by satan and we can only be set free from that bondage of satan by God.

When we are depressed then we are in deep darkness for then we are surrounded by evil and then we do not see the light of God. Only if we look to God is that darkness removed by God and do we enter into the light of God, therefore, we must open our heart and mind to God to be filled with the light of God if we wish to be removed from the darkness of satan by God.

Self-pity comes within our mind when we look away from God and all of the blessings we have received from God, for then we do not love God and then we do not trust God and then we are not thankful for all the blessings we have received from God.

When satan controls our mind then we are on our way to destruction unless we are set free from that darkness of satan by God, therefore, we must open our mind to God and listen to the voice within us of God for then we will be set free from the evil of satan by God.

We will receive help from God if we seek help from God and are willing to trust and obey God. However, if we continue to live in our self-pity then we rebel against God, and when we rebel against God then we live for satan, not for God. If we wish to live for God then we must surrender our life to God and trust God. If we surrender our life to God and trust God then we are sustained with strength and love forever by God.
We will receive help from God if we seek help from God and are willing to trust and obey God. However, if we continue to live in our self-pity then we rebel against God, and when we rebel against God then we live for satan, not for God. If we wish to live for God then we must surrender our life to God and trust God. If we surrender our life to God and trust God then we are sustained with strength and love forever by God.
( Psalms 125:1 ).
We must remove the things from our mind that make us fall into self-pity and we must set our mind on God. If we set our mind on God then our mind will have peace for then it will be full of the light of God, for only true peace for our mind is with God.

The darkness of satan will be kept away from us by God if we place our life in the hands of God. In addition, when we are in the darkness of satan it will be removed by God if we place our life in the hands of God, but we must seek our help by God. Anyone who truly seeks his or her strength by God will receive that peace within from God. Therefore, self-pity may never find place in our life but our mind must be open to God. If we do allow our mind to be open God then we can be sure that we will not fall into darkness of satan, but then we will always walk in the love and light of God.
