If we seek to please the people that do not live for God than we do not please God, for we cannot please people and please God. And if we seek to save our life by not obeying God then we will be punished in hell like all other people who do not live for God. Only if we continue to obey God then we will be saved by God from the punishment in hell that awaits people that do not obey God.
The people who do not love God and do not accept Jesus the Son of God as their only lifeline to God will also not love the people who live for God and live for Jesus Christ the Son of God.
( John 15:18-20 ).
